Section 3 — Ingredients & Composition
Hazardous ingredients only required. You only need to list ingredients classified as hazardous under the HCIS. Our scientists will list any remaining balance as "Non-hazardous ingredients — remainder to 100%" on the SDS. Providing the full formulation is welcome but not required. Concentrations: Ranges are acceptable for commercially sensitive values (e.g. "10–30%"). Per Schedule 8 of the MCoP, all concentrations should account for 100% of the formulation where possible. CAS Numbers are required for any hazardous ingredient. If unsure, provide the ingredient name and our scientists will source the CAS number. Pure substance: if this product is a single pure chemical rather than a mixture, complete the first row only.

Section 4 — Hazard Classification
Not sure? That's fine — hazard classification is one of the most technical aspects of SDS preparation, which is exactly why you're here. Tick whatever you know, or simply check the box below to leave it entirely with our scientists. If you have any existing MSDS or supplier safety data sheets, attach them to your email.
— OR, if you have specific knowledge, tick applicable hazards below:
Physical Hazards (tick all that apply)
Health Hazards (tick all that apply)
Environmental Hazards (tick all that apply)
Signal Word (if known)
Known H-statements (optional)
e.g. H302 Harmful if swallowed; H314 Causes severe skin burns and eye damage. Leave blank if unsure — our scientists will assign all H and P statements from the classification.
Section 5 — Transport & Dangerous Goods
When is a product a Dangerous Good? A product is classified as a DG if it meets the criteria for one of the 9 DG Classes under the ADG Code — e.g. Class 3 (Flammable liquids), Class 6.1 (Toxic substances), Class 8 (Corrosive substances), Class 9 (Miscellaneous / environmentally hazardous). If your product contains flammable, toxic, or corrosive ingredients, it is likely a DG. Tick Unsure if you are not certain — our scientists will assess from your ingredient list.
Is this product a Dangerous Good for transport?
If Yes, complete the fields below. If No or Unsure, leave blank — our scientists will determine or confirm classification.
DG Class (if known)
